Late Shri S.P. Goenka, the founder of Gimpex, established the company over 50 years ago with unwavering dedication and a sharp business mind. Starting from humble beginnings, he built Gimpex into a globally respected name in the industrial minerals sector.
A pioneer in Barite exports, he was instrumental in placing India on the global map as a reliable source of high-quality minerals. His strategic thinking and ability to anticipate market trends helped Gimpex expand its reach across continents and become a dominant force in mineral trading.

Our facilities support a wide range of tests, including chemical analysis, sieve analysis, specific gravity, bulk density, and high-temperature fusion. The lab is built to handle both routine quality checks and specialized client requirements—ensuring consistency across every shipment.
